70 Days of Geocaching – Day 11

TEAM_CSGs quest to fill in month/day combinations where we have never found a geocache.

Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity, in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS)receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called “geocaches” or “caches”, anywhere in the world. (Source: Wikipedia)

A overnight snow event starting in Thursday made this one exciting.  No picture today as I forgot to take one at the find/

Cache found

When the Saints Go Marching In – a rain base with snow after a few hours made many of the sidewalks slippery.  The walk was the challenge to a older Denver neighborhood northeast of downtown. The church that is attached to the location of the cache is a condo conversion. It must be interesting to live in a former church.
I selected this cache as the size was classified as small.  I decided if I was to find a cache today, it need to be larger then a micro. When I arrived at ground zero, the find was quick and I signed the log.
