70 Days of Geocaching – Day 20

The Hidden lake near the cache

TEAM_CSG’s quest to fill in month/day combinations where we have never found a geocache.

Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity, in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS)receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called “geocaches” or “caches”, anywhere in the world. (Source: Wikipedia)

PB Cache – A strange day to need a geocache.  I had two ‘Did not finds’ over the lunch hour today.  A scheduled maintenance window on geocaching.com today was going to make a find very challenging.  I have had this cache on my ‘quick find’ list.  A regular size cache, a rare event in the city, made this a must find. Near a lake and marina in the city, this is a very secluded spot I had to go old school today, using my handheld GPS receiver instead of my iPhone to find this one.  Now a week off before the next one.
