70 Days of Geocaching – Day 39 – 1945

Can you see the cache?

TEAM_CSG’s quest to fill in month/day combinations where we have never found a geocache. Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity, in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS)receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called “geocaches” or “caches”, anywhere in the world. 1945 – This is the last day to fill in until mid-September.  Today was the start of a 24 hour rain event that is expected to drop 3-5 inches of water in the area.  So today, a quick find was a must.  This was a cache that was ‘hide in plain sight’.  A quick find as it was starting to drizzle again.  The two star difficulty was a bit overstated.

We will attempt the 7 Souvenirs of August Challenge sponsored by Geocaching.com
