TEAM_CSG’s quest to fill in month/day combinations where we have never found a geocache. Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity, in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS)receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called “geocaches” or “caches”, anywhere in the world. Jim Baker Reservoir again – It has been a brutal week weather wise in Denver. From 70s in the start of the week to record lows of -14F, geocaching is going to get tougher for the balance of the year. We had a break from the cold yesterday, but another front started to come through the area, and with it, another round of snow and below zero temperatures.
I had to run a few errands this morning, and took the opportunity to find the cache for this day. The hide was at Jim Baker reservoir. The again in the name refers to the second cache at this watershed northwest of downtown Denver. A biography of Jim Baker is here.
